Job Summary
Senior Manager of People Analytics, Insights & AI, reporting to the Director of People Analytics and Insights. Responsible for advancing how BD uses people data to drive workforce decisions and business performance, blending analytical expertise with change leadership, business partnership, and practical adoption across the enterprise.
Responsibilities- Strategic Business Partnership & Advisory
- Partner with senior HR and business leaders to frame workforce challenges as analytical problems with data‑driven answers linked to outcomes.
- Serve as trusted advisor to HR Business Partners, equipping them with insights and decision‑support tools.
- Translate analytical findings into narratives that anchor the “so what” in business terms for non‑technical audiences, including VPs and Senior Directors.
- Proactively identify analytic opportunities, develop structured cases articulating problem, solution, and expected impact.
- Advanced Analytics & Insight Development
- Lead design and delivery of advanced analytics solutions: predictive modeling, workforce segmentation, attrition risk, talent pipeline assessment, organizational effectiveness indicators.
- Apply statistical techniques, including regression, machine learning, clustering, hypothesis testing.
- Deliver operational talent reports and KPI scorecards with clear, decision‑ready narratives.
- Collaborate with data engineering and IT to integrate HR data from multiple sources and build scalable solutions.
- Maintain rigorous standards for data quality, governance, and documentation.
- Adoption, Change Leadership & Business Case Development
- Own adoption of analytics tools and insights across HR and the business.
- Design and execute change‑management plans for analytics initiatives.
- Develop business cases for analytics investments, articulating problem, approach, ROI, and success criteria.
- Establish framework for measuring and communicating analytics value.
- Embed analytics into existing workflows, removing adoption barriers.
- Analytics Visualization & Storytelling
- Create executive‑ready dashboards, reports, and presentations in Power BI.
- Set high standard for data storytelling across the team.
- Build self‑service reporting capabilities to increase data accessibility.
- Emerging Technology & AI Awareness
- Maintain working understanding of AI and generative tools in people analytics.
- Partner with Technology and Digital teams to evaluate new tools, applying judgment on accuracy, privacy, relevance.
- Identify automation opportunities and expand capabilities through emerging technologies.
- Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Lead, coach, and develop analytics professionals.
- Drive prioritization and workload management across the team.
- Build data literacy and analytics capability across the broader HR function.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, I/O Psychology, HR Management, Business Analytics, or related discipline.
- 8+ years of progressive experience combining HR knowledge, business partnership, and hands‑on analytics.
- 5+ years of people or workforce analytics experience with large, complex datasets.
- 5+ years of applied HR experience across talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, or organizational effectiveness.
- Demonstrated experience leading or influencing analytics teams.
- Proven track record of driving adoption of analytics tools or insights.
- Experience developing business cases and articulating ROI for analytics solutions.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI – dashboard development, DAX, data modeling, administration.
- Experience with predictive modeling, regression, clustering, classification, and applied statistics.
- Experience with Workday reporting or equivalent enterprise HR systems.
- Master’s degree in HR, STEM, Business, or People Analytics.
- Strong SQL foundation and data engineering principles;
Python experience for analysis or modeling. - Familiarity with Visier as a people analytics platform.
- Familiarity with Databricks or similar cloud data lakehouse platforms.
