Description
Position Scope
Provide BD MDS Supply Chain Planning support activities: specifically, but not limited to plan development, flawless execution with structured follow up mechanism along with intense coordination with additional functional areas and Project Leadership. All in support of RECODE Project: SKU Inventory Management, EOL and retirement process as assigned by Project Lead with guidance to Supply Network Planners
Responsibilities 1.0 Design, adjust and maintain SC Master Project Plan- Leverage Project LT Tracker to create SC Project Plan as master document for execution
- Create flexible and agile reporting mechanisms to enable timely and accurate actionable data for all Stakeholders
- Create SC Project Dashboard to identify and measure key deliverable statuses
- Provide data, reports, metrics exceptions root cause analysis & support in the evolution and implementation of WW Supply Chain cost & service initiatives - including inventory optimization
- Provide analysis and maintenance of Project Tracker and SCM (Supply Chain Management) master data fields in alignment with WW Planning Organization (EOL) guidelines
- Understand and consult on inventory segregation processes and batch management strategies
- Drive Supply Chain network optimization to minimize inventory investment and material scrap exposure while maintaining above metric target service levels
- Work with Regions and Planning teams to track period forecast variance and recommend actions to support EOL inventory management requiring manual intervention where necessary
- Monitor the deployment plans from plants / vendors to all DCs, and any other pertinent locations
- Support all SAP/SCM network alerts - inventory, STR /STO sales orders & purchase orders.
- Proactively identify risks to timely execution and support planning of mitigation activities
- Participate in data and technology management (data acquisition, mining, analysis, data integrity management, metrics management and reporting)
- Establish strong relationships and credibility specifically with all Project related functional areas
- Evolve into “Partner of Choice” for key project stakeholders
- Identify Project challenges impacting all functions and proactively brainstorm solutions with Manager to continue momentum
- Schedule and Chair CCMD Planning Platform meetings and develop status reporting processes and summaries
- Support Business Platform Demand Planning, Supply Planning and Stakeholder functional areas with end of life (EOL) Inventory Management and Discontinuation execution activities
- Provide data, reports, metrics exceptions root cause analysis & support in the evolution and implementation of WW Supply Chain cost & service initiatives - including inventory optimization
- Provide periodic inventory status report updates and cost impacts to BDX & MDS SC Management and planning teams
- Quantify and evaluate transformation of internal and external information into intelligence to support project objectives
- Participate in data and technology management (data acquisition, mining, analysis, data integrity management, metrics management and reporting)
- Coordinate and align project Plans with EU MDR Timelines
- Partner with VAD SC counterpart to leverage best practice in Businesses for product migration and obsolescence process activities.
Position Requirements
- Experience Minimum 3-5 years related work experience
- Supply Chain & Project Management functions ideally with a Multinational organization actively using SIOP process - Experience with SAP / APO / SCM or similar ERP systems and Planning Systems
- Highly proficient in standard Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Especially Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI)
- Strong Analytical capabilities, accountability, and attention to detail
- Strong Drive for Results and ability to work independently in an ambiguous fast paced environment
- Strong organizational, mature interpersonal and ADVANCED written / oral communication skills for seamless cross functional / regional plan alignment
- Strong focus on Stakeholder deliverables and relentless follow up
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Logistics /Operations Management curriculum.
CertificationsASCM preferred CPIM, CSCP (or in process)
