Shift time is 8am to 4pm or 9AM to 5PM. On Site.
Position:
Laboratory Technician.
Location:
Franklin Lakes, NJ. Duration: 12+ Months Contract. Total Hours/week: 40.00.
This laboratory technician will mainly perform bench-level mechanical tests of medical devices, following written test procedures and not requiring constant supervision. Typical work includes:
- Hands‑on measurement of tension and compression forces on products.
- Vigilant compliance with procedures typical in a medical device company.
- Follow detailed technical instructions.
- Maintain attention to detail throughout long test durations.
- Accurately record and report test data.
- Experience with using testing equipment in a laboratory or QC.
- Able to maintain concentration and attention to detail throughout long test durations.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Able to use PC software including Excel.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Biomechanical engineering.
- Experience working in a regulated industry such as automotive or medical device.
- Experience in using mechanical testing machines such as the Instron.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and Minitab.
