Senior Scientist Chemistry

Job Overview:
Pay Range: $36.37hr - $41.37hr

• Represent research and development in cross functional teams supporting product development programs.
• Design and execute experiments to support development, verification, and validation activities.
• Document technical findings and build knowledge within assigned scientific areas.
• Support product development activities including requirements management, design verification, and transfer to manufacturing.
• Collaborate with engineering, marketing, medical affairs, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory teams.
• Contribute to intellectual property development including patent submissions and invention disclosures.
• Work under guidance to develop and implement technical solutions.
• Ensure adherence to laboratory standards, safety practices, and operational procedures.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor junior team members and promote a collaborative work environment.
• Travel as required for conferences, site visits, and project needs.

• Strong knowledge of chemistry, materials science, or related scientific disciplines.
• Experience designing and executing laboratory experiments.
• Familiarity with laboratory techniques and analytical methods.
• Strong documentation and technical writing skills.
• Ability to work in cross functional teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self motivated with strong problem solving abilities.

• Minimum 2 plus years of professional experience after graduation.

• Master’s or PhD degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with statistical analysis tools is preferred.
• Experience handling clinical specimens and laboratory safety practices is preferred.
