Job Description

To develop and execute comprehensive production plans that optimize resource utilization, minimize waste, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality PU-PVC conveyor belts, contributing to the overall operational excellence and strategic goals of Ammega.

Summary

To develop and execute comprehensive production plans that optimize resource utilization, minimize waste, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality PU-PVC conveyor belts, contributing to the overall operational excellence and strategic goals of Ammega.

Responsibilities
  • Production Planning:
    Develop production plans aligned with sales forecasts, customer demands, and plant capacity.
  • Production Scheduling:
    Create and maintain production schedules. Manage production orders, review progress, and adjust plans.
  • Material Planning and Inventory Optimization:
    Collaborate with procurement and warehouse to ensure raw material availability, inventory levels, forecast materials, and analyze inventory data.
  • Capacity Planning and Resource Optimization:
    Analyze machine capacity and labor resources to improve production efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
    Track and analyze production KPIs, including schedule adherence, material utilization, and efficiency metrics. Monitor and improve Scrap/Waste, and Claims.
  • Continuous Improvement and

    Collaboration:

    Lead SQDIP meetings, Gemba walks, and other continuous improvement initiatives.

No direct reports. Oversee all aspects of production, including planning, execution, quality control, and safety. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity. Collaborate with other departments and external contractors as needed.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in production planning and scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
