Overview

PARTS CLERK - HIRING NOW IN - Franklin Park, IL.

Compensation: $21.00 – $26.50 per hour.

Hours:

6:30am to 3:00pm.

• Maintains and verifies inventory levels for MRO materials.
• Orders, organizes, and logs and stores materials for the plant.
• Assists internal customers with locating and obtaining materials.
• Performs cycle counts and completes associated documents.
• Coordinates and arranges delivery of material/equipment from vendors.
• Reports and orders critically low assets.
• Verifies vendor and third-party lists.
• Maintains contractor check-ins and outs of the facility.
• Uses OEM documentation, historical data and technical support to source parts as required to support the plant.
• Maintains accurate records of inventory and cost as required by a public company.
• Maintains neatness of area outside storeroom and related areas; clears stock items from hallways within 24 hours.
• Addresses and reports safety issues or hazards immediately.
• Operates a lift truck to move equipment.
• Maintains excellent safety and attendance records.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• At least two (2) years of inventory management experience.
• At least one (1) year of SAP experience, preferred.
• Forklift certified.
• Demonstrates knowledge of company purchasing procedures and compliance with policies and procedures.
