3rd Shift Quality Control Tech

The Quality Control Technician inspects, weighs, sorts, and samples raw, in-process, and baked goods, according to customers’ specifications and food safety standards.

• Enforce adherence to all food safety, and quality standards.
• Follow all sanitation and personal safety requirements.
• Inspect, weigh, sort, measure, and sample in-process and baked products for conformance to food safety and customers specifications.
• Record inspection data, such as weights, measurements, temperatures, and quantities.
• Record/Monitor all receiving and shipping documentation as it pertains to quality
  
  Monitor all critical control points, and metal detector
• Report and follow up on foreign object investigations.
• Perform daily quality control floor audits, following stablished intervals.
• Monitor and Control ongoing processes.
• Record temperature control daily checks and calibrate inspection tools.
• Identify product with details such as accepted, rejected, on hold status.
• Notify immediate supervisors or other personnel of production problems.
• Discard, reject, and/or put on hold products if not meeting specifications.
• Collect or select samples for testing, when required.
• Document tests or inspection reports describing results, recommendations, or needed corrective actions.
• Compare colors, shapes, textures, of products with samples to verify conformance to standards.
• Assist in training of new personnel as well as filling in for absent technicians.
