Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Physical Therapist located in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The Physical Therapist will evaluate and develop personalized treatment plans for patients, focusing on improving mobility, reducing pain, and restoring functionality. Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, implementing evidence-based therapy techniques, monitoring progress, and maintaining detailed records. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and education to patients will also be a key aspect of this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in conducting patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic exercises
- Strong understanding of evidence-based physical therapy practices and rehabilitation techniques
- Excellent communication, patient education, and interpersonal skills within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to providing personalized care with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes
- Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in the state of New York or eligibility to obtain licensure
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent
- Previous experience in outpatient or clinical settings preferred but not required
