IT Desktop / End User Support Technician Position Overview
We're looking for an IT Desktop / End User Support Technician who enjoys helping people, solving technical problems, and learning new technologies. In this role, you'll provide on-site support to end users in a fast-paced environment while serving as a trusted IT resource for the organization.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1–4 years of hands‑on IT support experience who wants to continue developing their technical skills and gain exposure to a broad range of desktop support technologies, endpoint management, and IT operations.
Required Experience & Technical Skills- 1–4 years of desktop, deskside, or end‑user support experience
- Experience supporting:
- Windows 10 and Windows 11
- Microsoft 365 applications and services
- Active Directory user administration (password resets, account creation, account management, group membership updates, etc.)
- Endpoint management and monitoring tools
- Experience working with:
- IT ticketing / PSA systems
- Inventory and asset management platforms
- Documentation and knowledge base systems
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
- Provide desktop and laptop hardware and software support for end users
- Troubleshoot Windows operating system and application issues
- Support Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, One Drive, and Office
- Install, configure, deploy, replace, and retire desktop and laptop computers
- Support peripherals, including monitors, docking stations, keyboards, mice, printers, and other end‑user devices
- Perform user onboarding and offboarding activities, including account setup and device provisioning
- Complete IMAC requests (Installs, Moves, Adds, and Changes)
- Perform Active Directory user administration, including password resets and account management
- Provide hands‑and‑eyes support for remote engineering and infrastructure teams
- Assist with Salesforce integrations and related tasks (training provided)
- Create, update, and maintain accurate tickets and documentation within the company's support platform
- Maintain IT asset inventory and equipment records
- Follow established IT procedures, documentation standards, and best practices
- Deliver professional, responsive customer service while building strong relationships with end users
