Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 12 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience within the past 12 months.

• 3 months of travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

• 12 months of acute care experience.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Minnesota license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program:
Staffency Program - Aspirus.

Additional Details:

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Skills/Experience: 1-year minimal acute care experience preferably withing critical care.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Preference to have Critical Care experience within the past 3 years.

Required Credentials: Associate’s Degree or Certificate

Preferred Credentials: Bachelor’s Degree

Shift & Scheduling:

• Week rotation
• Weekend/Holiday Requirements: 2 out of 4 weekends, Every other holiday
• On Call/Call Back Requirements:  Can be low censused and put on call. xrlwcon Call back minimum is 2 hours

Floating Requirements:

• Will float between critical care units - possible float to lower acuity units based on census and need
• Float pool requirement from Critical Care, Cardiac ICU and IMC units.

9 days maximum time off

1 reference from last 3 years (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission

1 reference from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission

Proof of identification required

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)

• TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course)

• CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse)
