Bye Bye Birdie, a Division of Select Exterminating, has specialized in commercial bird control across the Tri-State area for 30+ years. We partner with premier buildings, transportation hubs, and institutions across NYC.
What You’ll Tackle
- Install, service, and maintain bird deterrent systems (netting, spikes, wire, and more)
- Use a variety of tools and materials to complete construction-style installation tasks
- Deliver work that meets strict safety and quality standards
- Keep work areas neat, organized, and professional
- Operate on rooftops and elevated areas in all weather conditions
- MUST BE ABLE TO COMMUTE TO JOB SITES WITHIN ANY OF THE 5 BOROUGHS. COMPANY VEHICLES ARE PROVIDED BASED ON AVAILABILITY.
- Mechanical aptitude; construction or installation experience a plus
- Comfort with heights, including climbing ladders and working on rooftops
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and climb a 40-foot ladder
- Strong communication, organization, and time management
- Positive attitude; collaborative and dependable
- Valid NYS Driver’s License (Required)
- OSHA 30-hour Certification (REQUIRED)
- Aerial Boom Certification (Training provided)
