Rafferty Construction, Inc., a rapidly growing national commercial construction company headquartered in Franklin, Indiana, is seeking a competent, self‑motivated Construction Superintendent to join our team. We specialize in ground‑up construction, interior tenant build‑outs, and restaurant projects, serving clients across more than 25 markets nationwide.

We are a general contractor focused on commercial build‑outs, remodels, and tenant improvements. We need a capable Commercial Estimator to join as assistant to the Lead estimator. The long‑term goal is for this person to become fully competent in every aspect of the estimating role so we have strong bench depth and capacity as the company handles more and more projects.

You will support current workload while developing the skills to independently handle full estimates, proposals, and related tasks.

• Assist with plan review, customer communication, and bid preparation
• Solicit and analyze subcontractor bids from multiple trades
• Help build detailed estimates, proposals, scopes of work, and bid packages
• Support subcontractor negotiations, value engineering, and cost analysis
• Maintain bid files, subcontractor database, and project documentation
• Over time, independently run complete bids from Customer introduction to contracts

• Local to Central Indiana
• Hands‑on commercial estimating experience preferred.
• Blueprint reading and takeoff skills are a plus.
• Solid Excel abilities (we rely heavily on spreadsheets for bids).
• Highly organized, detail‑focused, and good at documentation.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to occasionally visit job sites.

Starting pay will be based on experience.
