Elementary Alternative Education Teacher (Teacher on special assignment)

Northwood Elementary School

Number of Days Per Year: 185 (including 1 day for orientation).

Number of Hours Per Day: 7 ¾ hours as per the Master Agreement.

Special Education teacher for K-4 students primarily with developmental disabilities, emotional disabilities, mild disabilities, and behavior challenges in special education and general education settings. Supervisory and other duties as assigned by building administration.

Must hold a valid Indiana teacher’s license. Preferred license:
Seriously Emotionally Handicapped, Mild Intervention or Intense Intervention.
