Giggles Grove is a newly established daycare center dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Daycare Center Director to lead our team and ensure the highest quality of care and education.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership: Oversee daily operations and provide leadership to staff, ensuring a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Program Development:
Design and implement age-appropriate educational programs that promote children's development and learning. - Staff Management:
Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate staff. Foster professional development and support a culture of continuous improvement. - Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and educational guidelines. - Parent Communication:
Build strong relationships with parents and guardians; communicate regularly about children's progress and center activities. - Financial Management:
Develop and manage budgets, oversee billing, and ensure financial sustainability of the center. - Community Engagement:
Promote the daycare within the community and establish partnerships with local organizations and schools. - Quality Assurance:
Monitor and assess the quality of care and education provided, implementing improvements as necessary.
- Bachelor’s degree or Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Previous experience in a daycare or early childhood education setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Knowledge of state licensing requirements and best practices in early childhood education.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Passion for working with children and commitment to their development and well being.
