About the RoleThe Production Planner orders raw materials, maintains inventory levels, and creates and updates production orders in the system. Duties include ordering raw materials, data entry, filing, tracking, and entering production and raw material information into the system.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule plant production.
- Order raw materials for the plant, including granules, asphalt, filler, sand, etc., and coordinate with corporate buyers on other materials.
- Track and update raw materials.
- Spot‑check raw materials as necessary and work with accounting to maintain the accuracy of those materials in the system.
- Review production orders in the system for completion and picking list postings.
- Maintain and update production orders with the schedule.
- Assist accounting in monthly raw material counts and recounts as requested.
- Input and receive raw materials as needed.
- Create and update purchase orders as necessary and review weekly to ensure the accuracy and timing of inbound raw materials.
- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Preferred field of study: supply chain management, transportation, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Travel:
None required. - Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize‑approved PPE, including respirators. Employees required to wear respirators must be clean‑shaven where the respirator seal meets the face to pass the fit tests.
