Machine Operator

Machine Operator / Production Team – NSK Corporation

We are hiring for 2nd shift (3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.) and 3rd shift (11:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.). Pay range: $20.00–$23.75 per hour (including a $2.00 shift premium for 2nd & 3rd shift).

• Observe machine operation to detect defects.
• Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and make adjustments as necessary.
• Inspect product for defects, and measure product to determine accuracy of machine operation using rules, templates, and measuring instruments.
• Review standard operating procedures and job orders to determine appropriate product specifications and work instructions.
• Fill out required quality check sheets and other paperwork.

Experience

Preferred:
Any applicable experience (e.g., Manufacturing, Machine Operator).

Required:

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

• Frequent standing and walking for 8-10 hour shifts.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs; occasionally lift or move up to 40 lbs.
• Constant use of hands for simple fingering, grasping, and writing.
• Vision required to examine components and final product, read paperwork, labels, line indicator signals, and screens on the machines; safety glasses must be worn on the plant floor.
• Hearing required for safety and communication with coworkers; hearing protection must always be worn.
