Machine Operator II Injection A Shift LX
Performs repetitive production and packing operations to mass process products such as plastic bottles.
Essential duties and responsibilities include working from a production schedule, checking product specifications, monitoring product flow, tending machines, working at different workstations, checking finished product for defects, wearing personal protective equipment, participating in safety policies, maintaining work area cleanliness, following HACCP, GMP, and product safety rules, training department members, and learning new skills.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, manufacturing experience, ability to read and speak simple sentences, and meeting physical demands such as lifting, standing, and repetitive motion.
Training includes Lock Out / Tag Out, Bloodborne Pathogen, Hearing Conservation, Right to Know, Emergency Evacuation, Ladder Safety, Confined Space Entry, Forklift Safety, HACCP, GMP, and HRIS Systems.
Level of authority includes reporting safety concerns, holding inspection of non-compliant products, shutting down equipment for safety, and contacting management without reprisal.
