CNC Team Leader (2nd Shift)

HiFyve is hiring a CNC Team Leader in the Material Handling Manufacturing industry in Franklin, IN!

Salary: $26.60/hour total

Shift: Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (Occasional Saturday overtime)

On-site | Franklin, IN

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead the daily operation of the CNC machining and production team to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction are achieved.
  • Perform CNC tool setups, tool changes, and offset adjustments to support efficient production.
  • Troubleshoot CNC machines and respond to production issues by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Conduct required quality inspections using gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring equipment.
  • Monitor production output, record process data, and ensure daily production goals are met.
  • Coordinate with the Production Manager and Quality team to resolve production and quality-related concerns.
  • Perform preventative maintenance activities and inspect fixtures and equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Train, coach, and support team members while maintaining accountability for performance and adherence to company standards.
  • Fill in across departmental processes as needed to support staffing requirements and production demands.
Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Trade school preferred
Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities
  • Previous CNC machining experience required.
  • Experience operating, troubleshooting, and setting up CNC equipment.
  • Prior experience leading or training employees in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
  • Strong troubleshooting, decision-making, and mathematical skills.
  • Experience using hand, pneumatic, and power tools.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet throughout the shift.
  • Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed.
