We’re seeking a Lean Practitioner who s ready to be part of our mission to manufacture and deliver innovative, performance-driven building products with unmatched service and integrity. Our focus is creating longer-lasting, environmentally responsible roofing solutions that can withstand all weather conditions.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Lean Practitioner leads enterprise-level Lean transformation initiatives to drive operational excellence, eliminate waste, and improve quality, delivery, and cost performance. This role serves as a subject-matter expert, coach, and change leader, enabling teams to adopt Lean thinking and sustainable continuous improvement practices across the organization.

WHAT YOU LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Lead Lean Transformation:
    Develop and execute Lean strategies using our BEOS that align with business objectives and work cross-functionally to deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, productivity, cost, and customer satisfaction.
  • Coach and Mentor:
    Guide leaders, managers, and frontline teams in applying Lean principles, tools, and behaviors (e.g., value stream mapping, 5S, Kaizen, problem-solving, standard work, visual management).
  • Facilitate Continuous Improvement:
    Lead cross-functional improvement events focused on root cause identification and loss/waste elimination while implementing sustainable solutions.
  • Performance Measurement:
    Deliver measurable improvement for business objectives such as safety, quality, lead time, OEE, cost, productivity, OTIF, and engagement.
  • Standardization:
    Promote standard work practices, process stability, and operational discipline throughout the organization.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Field of Study Preferred: Engineering, Quality, Operations, Business, or a related field is required.

Required

Work Experience:

5 years of experience in Lean deployment, operations excellence, quality, or process improvement roles supporting manufacturing or operations.

Travel Requirements: N/A

Additional Requirements:

  • Proven record of leading successful Lean transformations or large-scale improvement initiatives.
  • ASQ, PMP, or other certifications preferred.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification strongly preferred. Formal training in Lean methodologies (Toyota Production System, Shingo, etc.).
  • A strong understanding and practice of Lean principles, systems, and behaviors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent facilitation, communication, and coaching abilities for all levels of the organization.
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize-approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators.
