• Location: Franklin, Indiana
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Shifts Per Week: 3
• Shift Duration: 12 hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,040-$2,150
• Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend
• Orientation: 1-2 shifts with a preceptor
• Charting System: Cerner

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 3 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience
• Experience in a Critical Access Hospital or community hospital setting preferred
• Previous experience boarding patients in the Emergency Room
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
• TNCC and ENPC preferred
• Ability to float to Med-Surg and CCU as needed
• Experience starting IVs, administering medications, and interpreting EKG rhythms
• Flexibility to adapt to changing patient volumes, acuity levels, and workflow demands

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric
• Care for patients presenting with abdominal pain, chest pain, altered mental status, stroke symptoms, shortness of breath, and COVID-related concerns
• Board patients in the ED and support patient flow throughout the department
• Float to Med-Surg and CCU to help cover staffing needs when required
• Assess, monitor, and respond quickly to changes in patient condition in a fast-paced emergency department
• Start IVs, administer medications, and support diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and assist with telemetry monitoring
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapy, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
• Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner and follow department workflows and procedures
• Work every third weekend and remain flexible for holiday coverage when needed
