Physical Inspection - Quality Lab Technician

Responsibilities

* Conduct quality tests on magnet wire for compliance with specifications, design proposals, R&D, and product performance.

* Complete testing on QA and experimental runs, action requests, and sample orders.

* Assist in preparing magnet wire enamels, thinners, lubricants, and other materials.

* Inspect and analyze raw materials and chemical products to ensure adherence to specifications.

* Perform complex tests requiring meticulous attention to detail.

* Use detailed instructions to perform testing, enter data, and prepare reports or charts.

* Operate chemical testing equipment and measuring instruments.

* Assist technicians, engineers, and management in problem-solving and corrective actions.

* Utilize computer programs and quality systems, contributing significantly to the quality management system.

* Follow procedures and guidelines to achieve quality, safety, and production goals.

* Maintain accurate records and data for company reports.

* Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers to maintain positive working relationships.

Essential Skills to Our Client

* High School Diploma required;
Bachelor's degree in scientific field preferred.

* 1+ years of GMP experience.

* 1+ years of experience in quality control lab technician roles.

* Proficiency in basic laboratory techniques.

* Ability to work a 3rd shift, 12-hour schedule.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Strong working knowledge of computers.

* Understanding of Quality Systems (ISO/QS/TS).

* High attention to detail, organizational skills, and above-average mechanical skills.

* Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.40 - $21.11/hr.
