AboutThe Role
The Electrical Foreman performs quick analysis, troubleshooting and repair of all electrical and electronic components associated in an industrial environment. Programming and operational use of Allen Bradley PLC’s, AC/DC variable speed drives and servo drives. The foreman will train, mentor, coordinate, and electrician duties.
What You’ll Be Doing- Lead and oversee electrical maintenance crews.
- Assign daily work orders and tasks based on priority, and support in scheduling/ planning.
- Monitor team performance and communicate any deviations.
- Audit completed jobs to ensure they are accurate and all documentation complete.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations for the maintenance department.
- Review and approve job plans, spare parts, and resource requirements.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and develop permanent solutions.
- Recommend improvements to extend equipment life and reduce breakdown.
- Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, permit checks, and compliance w/ electrical safety plan.
- Provide Hands on support for motor, drives, controls sensors, control valves and process equipment.
- Ensure team complies with inventory and tool check out processes.
- Train technicians on new equipment, procedures, and best practices.
- Previous leadership experience in an industrial setting.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Four years of industrial maintenance experience is preferred.
- Ability to follow through with assigned tasks and meet deadlines under high pressure situations.
- Working with computer programs such as Excel and Microsoft Word to complete daily work logs.
- Strong communication skills.
- Competitive salary
- $48/hr for unlicensed, $55/hr for Licensed Electrician
