Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The role involves performing preventative maintenance on machinery and addressing direct requests from the manufacturing floor. The successful candidate will evaluate situations and determine the necessary maintenance level required for each repair. This position requires mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and the ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery.
- Evaluate and determine maintenance needs for manufacturing floor requests.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues involving pneumatics, hydraulics, gear boxes, and motors.
- Conduct electrical troubleshooting on 3-phase motors and VFDs.
- Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Operate maintenance room equipment according to procedures.
- Maintain equipment in production-ready and safe condition.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic presses, injection molding machines, and robotic equipment.
- Participate in cross-functional process improvement teams.
- Actively participate in daily team production meetings and communicate key plant environment items on safety, quality, maintenance, production, and continuous improvement.
- Follow work instructions as required.
- Perform root cause analysis to determine immediate actions or need for further personnel involvement.
- Maintain a 5S environment in the work area.
- Administer the equipment preventative maintenance program.
- Participate in equipment optimization and cost control/reduction activities.
- Assist maintenance staff to ensure all auxiliary equipment is in place and operational.
- 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Proficient in electrical troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of PLC systems.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with mechanical troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics.
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance.
- Familiarity with reading blueprints and schematics.

Work EnvironmentThe position involves a 12-hour shift from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM, operating on a 2/2/3 schedule. The work environment is focused on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Franklin, IN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $72800.00/yr. Medical insurance plans, dental and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, Health Savings Accounts (HSA) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer contribution/match, paid vacation/PTO, paid holidays, paid sick leave.
