Warehouse Team Lead

Position Overview

Warehouse Team Lead – Franklin, Indiana. This role offers weekly pay and a career you can feel good about.

• Hourly Pay $22.00 per hour
• Schedule:
  
  Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

• Products handled: HVAC products
• Equipment: stand-up reach and sit-down forklifts, order pickers, walkie riders

Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One year or more powered industrial truck experience preferred
• One year or more previous experience as Team Lead preferred
• One year or more Microsoft Office experience preferred
• One year or more warehouse experience preferred
• Knowledge and experience with an RF scanner – advanced required
• Valid forklift operator’s license certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effective leadership skills
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent organizational skills
• Proactive approach to responsibilities
• Maintains composure under pressure
• Knowledge of health and safety methods
• Bilingual (for Quebec locations only)

• Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of operations.
• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Allocate resources and organize daily work duties for team members to ensure optimal shift/team operational logistics.
• Inspire and guide team members toward improved KPI’s using appropriate leadership styles.
• Assist in providing orientation and necessary information, technology, and tools to new employees.
• Promote health and safety working methods within the warehouse.
• Handle daily paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
• Complete and submit daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operations effectiveness and service levels.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
