Warehouse Operations Technician 1st Shift

Position Description

Ryder is hiring an Operations Clerk in Franklin, Indiana. Candidates will receive weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to build a rewarding career.

• Hourly Pay: $22.00 per hour
• Schedule:
  
  First Shift Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 5:30 pm

• Assist in supporting standard facility Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to meet or exceed established goals in safety, quality, sanitation, and maintenance.
• Create and maintain daily dock schedules.
• Communicate with carriers regarding appointment setting and update load statuses.
• Work closely with the Operations Supervisor to ensure workload distribution is balanced and managed via WMS.
• Collaborate with the inventory department and on‑site personnel to resolve order issues.
• Interact with customers to communicate order changes and updates.
• Maintain various Excel spreadsheets and reports.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of warehouse experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel) and working knowledge of WMS systems.
• Forklift experience.
• Equipment certification may be required, depending on location.
