JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking dependable, detail-oriented individuals who take pride in creating clean, comfortable spaces that directly impact guest satisfaction and overall hotel success.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Clean and service guest rooms in accordance with Marriott brand standards
  • Clean hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas so that health standards are met.
  • Change linens, make beds, and replenish guest room amenities
  • Ensure all assigned rooms meet cleanliness and inspection standards
  • Report maintenance concerns and safety issues promptly
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of carts, storage rooms, and work areas
  • Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transporting other trash and waste to disposal areas.
  • Sweep, scrub, wax, or polish floors, using brooms, mops, or powered scrubbing and waxing machines.
  • Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
  • Disinfect equipment and supplies.
  • Observe precautions required to protect hotel and guest property and report damage, theft, and found articles to Manager.
  • Operate extractors and driers or direct their operation.
  • Performs cleaning tasks to support the entire facility.
  • Reports any maintenance or safety concerns to supervisor in a timely manner.
  • The ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
  • To provide BIG Service to guests and ensure their complete satisfaction, inclusive of greeting and interacting with guests in a friendly and enthusiastic manner, anticipating and meeting guest needs and preferences, remaining calm and professional when dealing with guests that are difficult or upset.
  • The ability to develop and maintain professional, trusting, and positive working relationships with managers, supervisors, staff, coworkers, guests, and vendors.
  • The ability and willingness to ensure that work activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
  • The ability to work safely. This includes clearly understanding and following company safety policies and procedures, completing work in a safe manner, caring about safety of self and others, responding appropriately in an emergency, and reporting unsafe conditions.
  • Maintain regular attendance at scheduled shift and staff meetings
  • Maintain professionalism and a friendly and approachable demeanor throughout the shift.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays (mandatory)
  • Ability for flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, and varying shifts week-to-week based on occupancy and business demands (typical housekeeping shifts may include 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, and 1:00 PM–9:00 PM). If cross-trained in laundry, shifts may include 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, and 11:00 PM–7:00 AM.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-focused attitude
  • Willingness to be cross trained in other departments, including laundry
  • Internal candidates must meet the eligibility requirements as provided in the Transfer and Promotion policy.
  • Must be able to obtain required work cards, and non-gaming registration as required by the local jurisdiction.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must pass all pre-employment requirements.
