- A leading automotive components manufacturer is seeking a Translator/Data Analyst to support communication between expatriates and local staff while also performing analytical functions related to production, quality, and corporate reporting. This role ensures accurate language support and data integrity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Provide interpretation during meetings, on the production floor, and at corporate events.
Translate technical and general documents as needed.
Assist expatriates and their families with U.S. transition needs (housing, medical appointments, banking, government documentation, etc.).
Maintain translation equipment and support plant tours and VIP visits.
Prepare recurring reports including labor, scrap, inventory, and budget data.
Conduct cross-departmental data collection for company-wide reports.
Support data audits, accuracy improvements, and compliance with IATF and JSOX requirements.
Assist with budget preparation and communicate data findings to management.
Provide medical interpretation support in compliance with HIPAA and Title VI.
Working Hours, Working Style- Full-time, non-exempt. Some overtime may be required. Occasional local, domestic, or international travel possible.
- Franklin, KY (office and manufacturing plant environment).

Fluent in Japanese and English (spoken and written) with strong technical vocabulary in manufacturing contexts.
High school diploma required;
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, or related field preferred.
Prior technical translation/interpretation experience required.
Experience in manufacturing or data analysis preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data management; ERP system experience (e.g., INFOR) preferred.
Strong organizational skills, confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare interpreting protocols a plus.
