Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Acute Care Float Pool position requiring Med/Surg Telemetry experience and a minimum of 2 years of RN experience.
Responsibilities- Acute Care Float Pool position in a hospital setting
- Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
- Patient ratio of 1:6
- Med/Surg Telemetry patient population
- On-call rotation required
- Weekend requirements to be discussed during interview
- Floating required per clinical experience and unit needs
- Block scheduling accommodated when possible
- Meditech EMR experience preferred
- First-time travelers may be considered with strong experience and clinical knowledge
- Candidates must reside more than 65 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- RTO requests are subject to manager's discretion
- On-site drug screening may be conducted on the first day of the assignment
- Active KY or compact RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
- Current BLS and NIHSS certifications (AHA-issued) required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
- DOB, SSN, and 2 professional references required for consideration
- Flu vaccine required — no exemptions accepted
