The Position:
The Sr. Staff Accountant, reporting to the Assistant Controller, is responsible for maintaining and enhancing accounting policies and procedures in compliance with GAAP. This position acts as a trusted resource in safeguarding the organization’s assets.
This position works Monday through Friday, from 8:30am-5pm. For the first few months this position will be in-office every day; after 3 months or so it will convert to 3 days in-office and 2 days remote.
The compensation for this position ranges from $75-$90K, depending on experience.
Your Day-to-Day:
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
- Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a senior-level or comparable role.
- Demonstrated strength in financial analysis and problem-solving.
- Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft business applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems required; familiarity with Net Suite, Sage (Peachtree), , Tableau, Dayforce, Navan, and Ramp preferred.
- Experience must demonstrate high level of interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written, as well as organizational skills, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
