Accounting& Office Administrator
BLOCK Builders, Inc. is currently seeking an entry level or junior Accounting Administrator to join our accounting team. The Accounting Administrator will report directly to the Controller/CFO and will be responsible for a variety of financial procedures, including but not limited to bookkeeping, payroll, and assisting with general daily operations of the office.
What you’ll Do- Following company established accounting procedures
- Overseeing the processing of payroll, invoices and receipts
- Filing and maintaining records
- Updating and maintaining the accounting database and systems
- Checking financial documents and journal entries for accuracy
- Daily cleanliness & organization of kitchen, conference rooms, general office area
- Ordering field and office supplies (including coffee)
- When applicable ordering lunches for team mates
- Proficient in Excel
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of Sage 300
CRE and Timber Scan preferred - A degree in Finance, Accounting, or relevant field preferred
