Position: Accounting / Office Administrator

Accounting

& Office Administrator

BLOCK Builders, Inc. is currently seeking an entry level or junior Accounting Administrator to join our accounting team. The Accounting Administrator will report directly to the Controller/CFO and will be responsible for a variety of financial procedures, including but not limited to bookkeeping, payroll, and assisting with general daily operations of the office.

What you’ll Do
  • Following company established accounting procedures
  • Overseeing the processing of payroll, invoices and receipts
  • Filing and maintaining records
  • Updating and maintaining the accounting database and systems
  • Checking financial documents and journal entries for accuracy
Office Administrator
  • Daily cleanliness & organization of kitchen, conference rooms, general office area
  • Ordering field and office supplies (including coffee)
  • When applicable ordering lunches for team mates
Qualifications & Skills
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of Sage 300

    CRE and Timber Scan preferred
  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or relevant field preferred
