Dental Treatment Coordinator

Operations Manager

Requirements

Three years dental front desk experience

Experience in an orthodontic or periodontic practice preferred

Scheduling Responsibilities
  • Ensures that ortho schedule is filled accurately. Checks schedule a week in advance to ensure accuracy.
  • Oversees scheduling and conducts the non-clinical portion of all consultation appointments.
  • Works with clinicians and Operations Manager/scheduler to accommodate changes in schedule.
  • Maintains information on overdue ortho adjustment appointments; schedules as soon as possible.
Financial/Insurance
  • Ensures that insurance information, contracts and financial arrangements are correct and completed in a timely fashion for patients beginning treatment.
  • Responsible for financial arrangements for Invisalign patients.
  • Sends pretreatment estimates to insurance companies.
Administrative
  • Monitors numbers and conversion rates for starts, new patients, consults, recalls, dismissals and generates weekly and monthly reports; follow up as needed.
  • Works with clinicians on goals, i.e. number of starts expected
  • Generates monthly production reports.
  • Follows up on patients who have had consults and not booked starts.
  • Works with Operations Manager or her designee to ensure accurate information on patients who have been asked to schedule initial appointments. Follow up as needed.
Other
  • Completes other duties as assigned.
