Sales Manager

Franklin Ford is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team in Franklin, MA. In this role, you will lead and inspire our sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets while delivering exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for developing strategic sales plans, fostering client relationships, and driving revenue growth in a dynamic automotive environment.

• Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to meet and surpass sales goals.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies and initiatives.
• Manage and price used cars to market to move inventory effectively
• Follow up with and ensure that used cars are being serviced, cleaned and photoed in less than 7 days.
• Keep track of wholesale vehicles and ensure inventory is maintained properly.
• Manage daily sales operations and coordinate with other departments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
• Prepare sales reports and forecasts for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

• Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar sales leadership role.
• Strong understanding of sales performance metrics and techniques.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team towards achieving goals.
• Proficiency in CRM software and CDK/Reynolds.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work in Franklin, MA and willing to adapt to the automotive industry environment.
