What Our Teachers Do:
- Provide meaningful educational opportunities tailored to the individual needs of each student, using a strengths-based approach.
- Complete formal and informal assessments to inform instruction and track student progress.
- Write and implement IEPs and lesson plans aligned with each student's goals, modifying academic content and providing accommodations as needed.
- Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals, academic growth, and skill development.
- Train and supervise classroom staff, ensuring consistency in instructional approaches and behavior support plans.
- Collaborate regularly with related service providers, including Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and BCBAs, to support holistic student growth.
- Maintain regular and open communication with parents and guardians, fostering a strong school-home partnership.
We are seeking high-energy, adaptable, and mission-driven special education teachers who thrive in a fast-paced environment. A strong candidate will:
- Demonstrate experience modifying academic content and providing accommodations for diverse learners with a wide range of support needs.
- Have experience teaching functional life skills, community participation, and pre-vocational training.
- Show the ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team while also independently managing classroom needs.
- Approach challenges with a problem-solving mindset and a commitment to helping each student reach their fullest potential.
Salary: $62,000-$70,000 per year

Qualified applicants should have:
- A license to teach special education - severe and profound disabilities OR currently on a path to receive such license OR a willingness to pursue such license combined with appropriate experience.
- Experience working with students with Autism in a classroom setting preferred.
- Willingness to work with students who engage in challenging behaviors.
- Have the ability to learn and perform physical management procedures.
- Experience in ABA, including discrete trial teaching and task analysis preferred.
