Position responsibilities include:

  • Represent Dean College at in‑person and virtual recruitment events such as college fairs, high school visits, and community programs.
  • Manage and track student engagement throughout the admissions funnel, from initial inquiry to enrollment.
  • Participate in 8 to 12 weeks of recruitment travel annually, primarily during peak seasons (September‑November and March‑April), including metropolitan areas in the Northeast.
  • Independently plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of travel within an assigned recruitment territory.
  • Conduct admissions interviews and provide thoughtful assessments of prospective students.
  • Review and evaluate applications for admission in accordance with institutional policies and criteria.
  • Support and help coordinate admissions‑related processes, systems, and special projects.
  • Deliver engaging admissions presentations to campus visitors, school groups, and other key stakeholders both in person and virtually.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports related to recruitment activity, travel schedules, enrollment projections, and other assigned initiatives.
  • Availability for evening and weekend work is expected as part of the recruitment cycle.
  • Additional duties may include supporting the planning and execution of on‑campus and off‑campus recruitment and yield events.
  • Other duties as assigned and/or required.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of one year of professional or student experience in admissions or a related field.
  • Familiarity with the Slate CRM system is preferred.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a diverse and inclusive campus environment.
  • Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple priorities with strong organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in the use of technology, including Microsoft Office Suite, web‑based platforms, and student information systems.
  • Willingness to travel and work occasional evenings and weekends.
