Part-tune Trumpet Instructor - After School Private Lesson Program
Sept 2026 to early June 2027
Hourly Pay: $53.00 per teaching hour

Location: Franklin High School

Schedule: 1-2 afternoons/evenings per week. The number of hours is dependent upon student enrollment. Applicants select the day (Monday – Thursday) that works best for their schedule. Lessons are offered between 2:30–8:00 PM. Applicant can choose a specific time frame within that, preferably at least three hours.

Benefits: This position is not benefits eligible.

Requirements:

  • Professional musician with prior experience teaching one-on-one lessons to students of varying abilities.
  • Extensive knowledge of sheet music and curriculum appropriate to students of varying abilities.
  • Offer will be contingent upon successfully passing Criminal Offender (CORI) background check and national fingerprinting screening (CHRI).
  • Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Additional Details: Private music lessons are offered to elementary, middle school, and high school students, as well as adults. Instructors are Franklin Public Schools employees and are paid bi-weekly.
