The Technical Sales Manager EMEA is a strategic technical and sales leader for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa region that supports distributors with training as well as pre and post sales technical support. They will blend deep technical understanding of professional production and integration speaker systems with expertise to support key accounts, develop channel partners, and represent EAW’s innovative products s role requires strong communication skills and frequent travel as they bridge the gap between complex speaker solutions and customer needs.
PRIMARYRESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate with the sales channel and marketing to schedule, plan, and organize regular virtual and in person trainings, demonstrations, and support.
- Work with sales team to manage project pipeline and provide data to assist in material forecasts.
- Possess technical expertise with the ability to explain complex pro audio products (DSP, processing, sound reinforcement) and their value to distribution partners and end users.
- Support distributors with demos/roadshows, trainings, and regional trade shows.
- Assist distributors and end users with system design and commissioning.
- Provide the first level of technical support (pre and post-sale).
- On-board new distributors and train them on EAW’s products, sales tools, and processes.
- Stays up to date of market trends, manage product launches, and represent the EAW brand at trade shows and events.
- Support the execution of regional sales and training plans while building new business.
- Develop and maintain demonstrations and speaker systems that support the education and benefits of EAW products.
- Assist ASG team with system design requests as needed.
- Provide commissioning services as needed.
- Provide technical support as needed.
- Practical knowledge of professional audio equipment and software. This includes loudspeakers, line arrays, amplifiers, mixing consoles, signal flow, microphones, and acoustics.
- Experience with audio programs such as Smaart, EASE, and EAW’s Resolution 2.0.
- Proven work experience as an audio engineer or in a similar technical role, demonstrating hands‑on expertise with audio technology.
- The ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both expert and non‑technical audiences. Strong presentation and written communication skills are essential.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues with hardware and software.
- The capacity to quickly learn and master new technologies and adapt training materials to the ever‑evolving pro audio landscape.
- A commitment to providing a quality customer experience interacting with dealers, distributors, and end users when handling inquiries.
- A bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering, Music Technology, or a related field is preferred, along with relevant industry certifications.
- This role consists of extensive travel throughout EMEA and to the EAW headquarters in Franklin, MA.
