Engineering Technician

Job Summary

Our client is seeking an Engineering Technician to join their team! This position is located in Franklin, Massachusetts.

• Plan, coordinate, and execute multiple drive testing activities on Power Edge servers to ensure performance and reliability standards are met
• Analyze test data to identify specification violations, potential risks, and overall compliance with established test criteria
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate issues, implement solutions, validate fixes, and drive resolution in partnership with suppliers
• Perform system troubleshooting and repairs at the component level to maintain optimal functionality
• Set up, configure, and test prototype systems and software
• Assemble and disassemble drives and devices under test (DUTs) within server environments
• Operate, calibrate, and verify electronic test equipment
• Rack and cable servers, ensuring proper setup and functionality testing
• Conduct data analysis and prepare reports to communicate findings, insights, and progress to management and stakeholders

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
• Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Knowledge in Storage Technology and HDD/SSD is desired

The approximate pay range for this position is between $17.00 and $25.00 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
