Job Summary
Develop new commercial banking relationships for the Bank and manage assigned portfolio of existing customers. Determine needs, provide products and services. Negotiate and structure commercial loans. Consistently provide outstanding and professional financial services. Exceed customer expectations and expand financial relationships by actively selling and cross‑selling quality banking products and services to individual, family and business customers.
CompensationThis position offers a competitive salary with an anticipated range of $92,380–$120,093. Individual salaries are determined based on various factors, including but not limited to job‑related knowledge, skills, experience and internal equity.
Essential Functions- Manage the quality and profitability of commercial loans and assess portfolio risk. Assess customer needs, determine product/service solutions, and ensure delivery. Negotiate and structure commercial loans and provide proper processing and documentation. Manage commercial relationships requiring a high level of technical and financial expertise. Act in an advisory capacity with respect to commercial customers' financial and operational needs. Assist in the annual reviews on assigned commercial credits.
- Strive to achieve quarterly and annual budgeted monetary goals set by senior management.
- Develop new business relationships and determine product/service solutions. Identify potential customers and initiate business development efforts to establish a banking relationship. Deliver commercial banking products and services. Maintain Bank reputation with prospects, referral sources, and community‑based organizations. Develop and nurture referral sources and provide commercial banking activity support to branches. Participation in network organizations and groups is a requirement. Cross‑sell deposit and other Bank products to deepen and broaden commercial relationships.
- Approve and manage credit exposures within assigned authority. Determine information required to effect a credit analysis and ensure receipt of information. Work within the Commercial and Credit Departments to ensure high‑quality credit analyses and risk assessments are developed. Present credits for approval above assigned authority. Ensure that all appropriate information is delivered to loan servicing, credit and other loan administrative units.
Ensure that record keeping is accurate and current. Prepare loan documentation support. - Perform all duties in accordance with prescribed regulatory compliance guidelines. Ensure all commercial loan relationships are in full compliance with applicable federal and state laws and regulatory guidelines are in compliance with Bank policies. Recommend changes to support prescribed requirements.
- Develop and nurture referral sources and support branches in support of commercial banking activities. Offer additional lending expertise to more junior lenders as needed.
- Keep abreast of appropriate laws and regulations affecting commercial banking in general and the extension of commercial credit to include regular participation in SBA webinars, relevant courses and seminars to build expertise as necessary. Complete all annual compliance training.
- Attend Security Committee and Loan Committee meetings and present commercial loan presentations to Committees for review and approval.
- Represent the Bank through active participation in community and industry organizations and events and promote the business interests of the Bank. Refer sales opportunities to other departments or Bank affiliates in support of established objectives.
- Maintain regular attendance and participation in networking events for business development, targeting the Bank's assessment and surrounding areas.
- Driving is a requirement of this position. The position requires driving to different branches, meetings, events, customers, vendors, or other businesses.

Qualifications, Education Requirements and Preferred Skills- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
