Senior Buyer – Responsibilities

• Strategic sourcing of materials and services, managing procurement processes and optimizing costs without compromising on quality.
• Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with company goals.
• Negotiate and execute purchase orders and long‑term agreement contracts with suppliers and secure advantageous terms.
• Perform price/cost analysis.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and services from vendors.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and new suppliers.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with FAR/DFAR requirements and regulations.

• At least 7+ years in a procurement or purchasing role, with a minimum of 3+ years in a senior position handling complex procurement tasks.
• 10 years of overall experience in procurement or purchasing.
• Strong understanding of Contractors Purchasing System Reviews (CPSR) requirements.
• Experience using Costpoint ERP system.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.

Pay: $100,000–$130,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
