Maintenance Manager

• Manage and lead a team of mechanical & electrical personnel in the safe and effective execution of maintenance procedures.
• Manage a maintenance program that incorporates both preventative and routine maintenance activities aimed at minimizing machine downtime.
• Lead mechanical staff in repairs or rebuild of equipment as needed to avoid breakdowns, ensuring work is completed safely and documented accurately.
• Lead the training requirements and professional development of the maintenance team.
• Troubleshoot and identify equipment problems and solutions when necessary.
• Manage spare parts inventory.
• Ensure compliance with corporate standards and applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies.
• Establish goals and objectives for the maintenance department that are aligned with plant and business goals.
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Improve equipment availability and advance preventative and predictive maintenance programs to achieve plant reliability excellence.
• Utilize maintenance technicians and equipment efficiently and advance planning and scheduling processes.
• Initiate and drive improvements via training programs, capital projects, and other means to continually focus on productivity and control of maintenance & capital spend.
• Analyze maintenance problems, devise and implement corrective action plans.
• Develop and maintain parts inventory system to ensure control and proper levels of spare parts.
• Evaluate employee performance to determine training needs and development opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
• Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.

• 5+ years of experience as a plant-wide Maintenance Manager.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline (preferred).
• Injection molding or foaming experience (preferred).
• PLC experience (plus).
