Position Summary

The Senior Manager, Enterprise Quality is responsible for leading the Program Quality organization, ensuring quality performance aligns with business objectives, financial targets, customer requirements, and regulatory standards. This leader will establish the quality strategy, drive continuous improvement initiatives, develop high-performing teams, and serve as the senior quality representative across multiple programs and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities Quality Leadership & Strategy
  • Establish and promote a strong quality culture across the organization.
  • Develop and execute the Program Quality strategy to support business objectives and customer expectations.
  • Define training strategies, organizational priorities, and quality performance goals.
  • Create an environment that enables the Quality team to succeed and continuously improve.
  • Drive proactive quality planning and risk mitigation throughout program execution.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Program Quality Engineers, team leads, and quality professionals.
  • Manage all personnel and HR-related activities, including:
  • Performance evaluations
  • Succession planning
  • Employee engagement and retention
  • Develop staffing models aligned with:
  • SIOP forecasts
  • Budgetary requirements
Program Quality Management
  • Own quality performance across multiple programs and business initiatives.
  • Lead and drive:
  • Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) reduction strategies
  • Systemic Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) initiatives
  • Establish program quality priorities that support Estimate at Completion (EAC) and Estimate to Complete (ETC) objectives.
  • Address quality issues through a data-driven, metrics-based approach.
  • Manage quality department budgets, including labor and travel expenses.
  • Provide quality-related input into:
  • Forecasting activities
  • Ensure efficient allocation of quality resources across programs.
Cross-Functional & Customer Engagement
  • Partner closely with Program Management, Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to resolve systemic quality issues.
  • Serve as the senior quality representative during:
  • Customer interactions
  • Executive leadership reviews
  • Program and business reviews
  • Drive alignment between quality objectives and overall business performance.
Governance & Compliance
  • Establish and maintain standardized program quality operating rhythms, including:
  • Quality Operating Reviews (QORs)
  • Corrective Action Boards (CABs)
  • Ensure compliance with:
  • AS9100
  • ISO 9001
  • Internal Quality Management System (QMS) requirements
  • Customer and contractual obligations
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or another STEM-related discipline with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience;
  • or 14+ years of aerospace quality and/or engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience leading quality performance across multiple programs.
  • Demonstrated success in:
  • People leadership and team development
  • Budget management
  • Customer-facing quality leadership
  • Experience serving as a Senior Leader, Technical Authority, or Quality Team Leader.
  • Strong organizational leadership and strategic planning experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strategic Program Quality oversight experience within aerospace or highly regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Strong understanding of financial metrics and business performance management.
  • Proven cross-functional leadership experience.
  • Experience interfacing with customers, executive leadership, and regulatory stakeholders.
  • Experience establishing governance structures, operational reviews, and quality management processes.
Industry Experience

Aerospace, Defense, Aviation, Space, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments strongly preferred.
