Work Shift:
8hr-1st Shift (United States of America).
Targeted Pay Range: $23.17 - $29.57 per hour.
Responsibilities- Demonstrates safe work practices by wearing correct PPE and following safety policies.
- Demonstrates punctuality and adheres to the work schedule.
- Demonstrates a One Team Cross Functional attitude by working well and effectively with others.
- Embraces and participates in continuous improvement processes to drive change within the plant.
- Adheres to company General Manufacturing Policies and ensures compliance with corporate and plant safety standards, as well as applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies.
- Keeps the work area clutter‑free, clean, and organized.
- Opens and operates blow‑mold/PET/injection molding machines (including wheels, reciprocating or shuttle machines) to ensure production of quality bottles.
- Adheres to quality control and to blow‑mold process procedure.
- Performs bottle inspections such as drop tests for designated lines.
- Inspects the quality of bottles during production, packaging, and labeling.
- Conducts audits, weight checks, and other quality checks.
- Makes adjustments to meet product specifications.
- Troubleshoots and performs minor repair on blow‑mold and support equipment.
- Immediately escalates all bottle abnormalities, defects, and quality issues when found.
- Monitors supply levels of packaging materials and replenishes as needed.
- Pick up dropped bottles, place them into bins and, if needed, into grinder.
- Ensures correct labeling, bottle description, and packaging in accordance with specific customer requirements.
- Moves finished goods to the designated area.
- Prepares and documents daily production reports (including rejects, regrinds, line efficiencies, etc.).
- Prepares maintenance request forms and documents equipment repairs.
- Receives instructions on specific job tasks from Lead Operator or Supervisor.
- Maintains application of sound professional judgment during unusual problems.
- Other duties as assigned by management (duties may differ by plant).
- Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Basic computer experience.
- Blow‑mold experience.
- Prefer High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Completion of Altium Production/Machine Operator training within 90 days of the hire date.
Physical DemandsThe role frequently requires standing, walking, using hands to grasp, handle, or feel, and reaching out, over, and below with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Lifting, pushing, pulling, and/or moving up to 50 pounds is frequently required.
Work EnvironmentRegular exposure to moving mechanical parts in a production environment. The noise level is usually loud. Temperatures inside the plant can fluctuate between hot and cold. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in the production department and other designated areas.
