The Panther Group is hiring experienced Mechanical Technicians for a leading Advanced Robotics & Mission Systems manufacturer in the Franklin, MA area.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with electro-mechanical assembly experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced, high-quality manufacturing environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, testing, and inspecting electro-mechanical assemblies while following engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and committed to delivering high-quality products that meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble, fabricate, test, and inspect electro-mechanical assemblies
  • Read and interpret assembly drawings, blueprints, schematics, bills of materials, and work instructions
  • Install and assemble a variety of electrical and mechanical components
  • Perform manufacturing tasks with limited engineering guidance
  • Safely operate hand tools, torque tools, measuring instruments, soldering equipment, and other assembly tools
  • Perform hand soldering as needed
  • Ensure all work meets quality and customer specifications
  • Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
  • Organize and maintain assembly workstations and tools
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to meet production goals
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2–5 years of manufacturing experience involving both electrical and mechanical assembly
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, work instructions, and bills of materials
  • Experience using hand tools, measuring devices, and assembly equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic shop-floor math
  • Ability to manage priorities and meet production schedules in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience performing hand soldering
  • Familiarity with IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, and/or J-STD-001 standards
  • Experience working with complex electro-mechanical assemblies
Additional Requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work and customer requirements.
  • Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment and follow all safety protocols.

Pay up to $25 per hour depending on experience.
