CNC Machinist

A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As a CNC Machinist 1 at MKS Inc., you will partner with Operations to process high‑precision optics on various CNC machines. In this position, you will report to the Filters Unit Production Manager.

• Operating multiple CNC cutting machines
• Prioritizing workload to ensure on‑time delivery goals are met
• Following standard operating procedures (SOPs) to correctly process substrates to meet customer requirements
• Working safely and looking out for the safety of your co‑workers
• Maintaining productive communication with other team members, including production planning and management

• 1+ years experience operating CNC machines
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to effectively solve problems and adapt to changing conditions
• Excellent attention to detail and follow through

• Experience processing glass substrates on CNC machines
• Writing programs for CNC machines

• Ability to lift 20 lbs.
• Ability to stand for at least 50% of the time

Pay Range: $16.70 - 27.83/hr is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
