Production Planner

Production Planner (JN - Franklin, Massachusetts

Salary: USD 35 - USD 40 per hour

Location: Franklin, MA

Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday

Start: ASAP
• 6 months, possible temp-to-perm

• Communicate scheduling updates, bottlenecks, and ETAs across multiple cell production departments.
• Evaluate and confirm delivery dates for work orders using analysis of material availability, capacity, lead times, and customer priorities.
• Oversee subassembly and raw material stock levels, and initiate work orders to maintain optimal inventory.
• Lead communication of material shortages with the supply chain team; ensure accurate and achievable delivery forecasts.
• Collaborate with engineering and supply chain on part revisions and ensure up-to-date bill of materials (BOMs).
• Approve and release work orders based on customer BOMs and new product introductions.
• Interface with production and warehouse leads to ensure timely picking and movement of materials based on priorities.
• Provide project status updates to cell leaders, production managers, and project managers; revise production plans as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in an analytical or supply chain-related field preferred
• Professional certifications such as APICS CPIM or CSCP preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in production planning or supply chain operations
