Parts Crib Attendant - 1st Shift

• Responsible for managing/maintaining Maintenance Parts of multiple locations within the plant inventory and keeping it organized.
• Maintain accurate electronic inventory records and transactions.
• Quality inspection of tools and fixtures upon issuance and receipt of such items.
• Perform cycle counts to ensure physical inventory matches inventory records.
• Work with management to order and replace damaged parts and hand tools.
• Assist maintenance department in ordering of supplies and optimize inventory.
• Maintain all safety procedures and practices.
• Continuously looks for and identifies process improvements in assigned area of work.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.

• Excellent planning and organizational skills required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift certified and experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Understanding and compliance with safety rules and regulations.
• Basic math skills and interpretation of data.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
