What you'll be doingAs Machine Shop Supervisor, you'll:
- Lead daily operations within the CNC machining department
- Supervise machinists, operators, finishers, assemblers, and Team Leads
- Coordinate production schedules to meet quality and delivery goals
- Coach, mentor, and develop employees through ongoing training and performance management
- Monitor production KPIs and implement corrective actions
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage work orders, inventory, calibration programs, and manufacturing resources
- Partner with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Operations to resolve production challenges
- Support hiring, onboarding, scheduling, workforce planning, and employee relations
- Ensure compliance with FDA Quality System Regulations, ISO 13485, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and company safety standards

- 3–5+ years of supervisory experience in a machining or manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining operations
- Experience with CNC setups, offsets, troubleshooting, and program editing
- Proven leadership and employee development experience
- Strong planning, scheduling, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Comfortable working on the manufacturing floor
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related technical field
- CNC screw machine experience
- Medical device manufacturing experience
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kanban experience
- Experience working within ISO-certified manufacturing environments
