You will work hands-on with CNC lathes, mills and Swiss-style equipment, solve real machining challenges and help maintain the exacting quality expected in a regulated medical-device environment. The role offers experienced machinists the opportunity to work with advanced processes and demanding materials while contributing to Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.

What

you'll be doing
  • Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills and Swiss-style machines using setup sheets, layouts and production requirements
  • Edit CNC programs, adjust machines and troubleshoot machining processes
  • Select and adjust tooling, offsets and machining parameters as needed
  • Inspect machined components to blueprint specifications and accurately record inspection results
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and basic Total Productive Maintenance activities
  • Support root-cause analysis, Lean manufacturing and process-improvement efforts
  • Work closely with Engineering, Quality, management and production teammates
  • Maintain safe, compliant and organized work practices

What we're looking for Required
  • 3–5+ years of CNC machining experience, including machine setup and operation
  • Experience setting up CNC equipment from setup sheets, layouts or technical documentation
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and inspect parts to print specifications
  • Experience editing CNC programs and making machining-process adjustments
  • Strong CNC troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Medium to advanced computer skills and comfort with production documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
Preferred
  • Medical-device machining experience
  • Knowledge of GMP, FDA, ISO 13485 or ISO 9001 manufacturing requirements
  • Experience machining nitinol, stainless steel, nickel alloys or other exotic metals
  • Lean manufacturing or continuous-improvement experience

Pay, benefits & schedule

Pay: $26.15–$33.27 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM–12:00 AM
