Precision Turning Machinist; Okuma Lathes

If precision turning is your craft, this role sets you up to do your best work on Okuma lathes while leveraging both Fanuc and Okuma controls.

• Set up and run standard CNC lathes on the Okuma platform.
• Translate blueprints and GD&T into exacting setups and in-process checks.
• Use measuring tools ranging from hand gauges to an optical comparator and CMM.
• Read G- and M-code and make simple edits to optimize cycle times or quality.
• Own complex setups using work instructions or guides; work effectively with limited supervision.

• CNC Machinist Level 2 or 3 experience.
• Comfort with Okuma machinery; fluency on Fanuc and Okuma controls.
• Strong grasp of GD&T and blueprint interpretation.
• Hands-on skill with precision measurement, including CMM and optical comparator.
• Proficiency across setup, changeover, and production runs.
