Part-Time Seasonal Farm Worker – Robariah Farms
Robariah Farms has been raising pasture‑raised, glatt kosher‑certified chickens, sheep, and cattle in Western Massachusetts since 2010. We use daily rotational grazing and mobile coops on pastureland in Deerfield, and sell direct to customers across New England through home delivery, CSA shares, and wholesale.
We’re looking for a reliable, hands‑on part‑time seasonal worker to help with daily animal care and farm operations. This role starts light and grows with the season — the right person will become an increasingly important part of a small, mission‑driven farm team.
Hours start at 5–10 per week and increase as the season and year progress, with additional availability needed when the farm owner is traveling.
Key Responsibilities- Daily care, feeding, and watering of poultry and livestock
- Moving and monitoring animals through rotational pasture system
- Egg collection and basic record‑keeping
- General farm maintenance and upkeep
- Covering operations independently when the owner is away
- Experience with poultry and/or livestock strongly preferred
- Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently
- Dependable, detail‑oriented, and good with animals
- Able to perform physical outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Local to the Deerfield/Franklin County area
SCHEDULE:
Part-time, seasonal. Approximately 5–10 hours per week to start, with hours increasing through the season. Flexible scheduling; some weekend availability required.
PAY: $18/hour
